Great Bible Promises

Once upon a time in the dim and distant past, our household faced a critical and stressful situation. We printed Bible promises on 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper and posted them around the house in places where we could see them almost constantly. When the unpleasant experience ended a few months later, we let the promises remain in place - some of them for many years.
When, many months later, a friend also encountered some of life's "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune," we thought of our promises. We cranked up the old printer and generated another set of promises, and passed them on with instructions to post them around the house.
They had such a good effect that we started doing it more often, and soon the little pile of paper promises had a name: "The Anti-Depression Kit."
It's a simple idea. You could make your own with any modern word processor, but here the work has been done for you.
The promises are available on this web site, all downloadable as "pdf" files. If you have "Acrobat Reader," "Preview," or other software that can open pdf files, you're all set to open the files, print them, and post them on the wall - or share them. (Downloading hint: Perhaps greater downloading success may be encountered by performing a right-click on the "download" link and placing the file exactly where you want to store it on your local hard drive.)
Come back and visit again. Additions and updates are added often. Many are now available in Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese, and we're experimenting with Russian. Also, there may eventually be more color photo posters, if we can get the file size smaller.
